大館では、ここ数日の間にかなりの雪が積もりました。
朝まだ夜が明ける前に聞こえる除雪車の音。
そして、雪かきから始める大舘の朝。
雪かきしてもしても降り積もる雪とのいたちごっこ。
雪かきは、日頃なまった体には、ちょっとした！？いやいや、かなりの運動になりますね。
ここ大館市は、豪雪地帯である秋田県の中でも積雪の多い地域であり、秋田市の平均積雪深94cmに対し、大館市は256cmの平均積雪深だそうです。
除雪車が走ることも雪国ならではですが、大館市内の歩道のバリアフリー化とヒートポンプによる融雪システムの導入などなど、日頃は、当たり前と思っていたことが雪国ならではのことだったりしますよね。
